Supporting Charities

If you have followed my journey you will know that I support three charities close to my heart.  If you haven't, you can find out more here as to why the following three charities mean so such to me. They are (in no particular order!):

SMIRA - A Selective Mutism Charity. Selective Mutism (SM) is an anxiety disorder which prevents those affected from speaking in certain situations, such as at school or in public. For more info head to

Brain Tumour Research Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer ... yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this and its vision is to find a cure for brain tumours. The charity is building a network of experts in sustainable research at dedicated UK Centres of Excellence and is also influencing the Government and larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.
